Creamy Cacao Protein Smoothie Recipe

As far as nutrition goes, cottage cheese is higher in protein and lower in natural sugars compared Greek yoghurt, and lower in saturated fat and sodium compared with other cheeses. Creamy Cacao and Cottage Cheese smoothie:

Ingredients:
  • ½ cup cottage cheese

  • 1 small frozen banana (or 100g frozen banana chunks)

  • 1tbs unsweetened cacao 

  • 1tbs protein powder or 1tsp 100% almond butter

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or chilled water


Method:

Mix all ingredients together in a high-speed blender. Add 1tsp honey or organic stevia for extra sweetness if needed.
